Ingredients
Minced beef – 300 g
Salt & black pepper – to taste
Cheddar cheese – 4 slices
Burger buns – 2
Butter – for toasting
Onion slices – optional
Method
Divide beef into loose balls without compacting.
Heat a cast-iron pan until very hot. Place beef balls and smash firmly using a spatula.
Season with salt and pepper, cook until crisp on one side, flip, and top with Cheddar.
Toast buns with butter. Assemble burgers with patties and onions. Serve hot.
